Changelog

This changelog summarizes the main improvements delivered to EMMA.

April

Added

  • NTI XL3 support: EMMA can ingest and expose NTI XL3 monitoring data in the platform.
  • NTI XL3 dBC values: C-weighted sound pressure values from NTI XL3 devices are available alongside existing sound metrics.
  • LF010 period-based alarms: LF010 device periods can be mapped to project periods so configured limits create the correct alarm rules.
  • LF010 secondary sensor metric: LF010 data includes the additional sensor sound-pressure value where available.
  • Spectrum visualization: chart workflows can show spectrum context alongside time-series analysis.
  • Alarm bulk acknowledge: users can acknowledge all matching pending alarm events directly from the event workflow.
  • Device special alarms: projects can configure online, offline, plugged, and unplugged device-specific alarms.
  • Device chart tab: the device detail page includes a dedicated chart area for multi-series analysis.
  • Alarm duplication: users can duplicate existing alarms instead of rebuilding similar configurations from scratch.
  • Archived file batch download: admins can select multiple archived device files and download them together.

Improved

  • Free storage normalization: NTI XL3 free-storage readings are normalized to percentages so they are comparable with other devices.
  • dBC rollout: C-weighted sound metrics are now more consistent across supported device families.
  • Visual Svantek configuration: administrators can build supported Svantek configuration values through a safer visual flow while preserving the raw config string.
  • Archived file filtering: archived device files can be narrowed by file type and date range.
  • Dashboard customization: custom widgets allow more focused monitoring layouts.
  • Alarm field ordering: alarm forms present fields in a more usable order.
  • Device model creation flow: the admin create-device form uses a stricter model selection flow to reduce errors.
  • Report output: device reports include the reviewed field set and clearer exported content.

Fixed

  • Chart period labels: duplicate period labels in charts were cleaned up.
  • LF010 1-second polling drift: live polling cadence for LF010 devices is more reliable.
  • Historical 5-second rolling repair: missing rolling values can be rebuilt more consistently from stored data.

March

Added

  • Password recovery and admin reset: users can reset passwords by email, and administrators can reset passwords from user management.
  • Notification channels: projects manage reusable notification channels instead of ad hoc recipient lists.
  • Low-frequency widget and dBC-dBA support: dashboard and widget surfaces expose more low-frequency monitoring context.
  • CSV download workflow: Svantek CSV files are available through the platform workflow.

Improved

  • Svantek custom configuration support: project devices support overriding the default Svantek configuration.
  • Power-source visibility: Svantek devices expose whether they are running on mains power.
  • LF010 support: LF010 ingestion gained dBC support, additional fields, and second-by-second data handling.
  • Spectrum data quality: stored second-by-second spectrum history is more reliable.
  • Project-device model configuration: model-specific device configuration is more normalized across the stack.

Operational updates

  • Transactional email delivery: production password-recovery email delivery was unblocked and validated end to end.
